Salesian Oratory - Sliema

After the show, one of the directors of the Musical 'Elements' commented about the outcome and took the opportunity to thank and congratulate all participants. Tonio Vassallo commented his experience like this:

"Elements was one of the greatest experiences I had. The atmosphere created between the young and not so young people was incredible. The synergy was perfect and this augurs very well for the future. A big WELL DONE to everyone who contributed to this success. Thanks you guys for this experience :)"

After carrying out some research, and creating some imaginative episodes, I believe that I have concluded a good play on the life of this great gentleman, Alfons Maria Galea, one of the most generous philanthropists known in local history. You may be aware that he had a very close relationship with the Salesians, and was instrumental to donate land to the Salesians through the goodwill of his wife Liza and her family. To-day we boast of the Salesian complex in Sliema, including the Salesian Theatre.

Atturi Salesjani held their third production for this Theatrical Season by presenting a three act comedy – IT-TLIET ANGLI (My Three Angels) written by Albert Husson and translated into Maltese by Frank Ganado. This comedy took place at the Salesian Theatre on Saturday 28th February at 7.30p.m and Sunday 1st March 2009 at 6.30pm. In one of the islands of Papua – New Guinea, an ex French colony, we encounter some French citizens who settled comfortably in the peaceful environment. However the island was also occupied by convicts who roamed freely around.
