A Pasta Night is being organised by the Youth Centre Committee in collaboration with the leaders of Dan Don Bosco, Dingli. The Pasta Night, on te occassion of Eurvision '09, will take place at Dar Don Bosco, Dingli starting at about 20.30. Transport will be provided for those attending. Those interested in coming are asked to give their names along with the fee to David Camilleri as soon as possible.

A special Mass will be celebrated at 20.00 at the Oratory's Chapel on the occassion of the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians. All members of te different sectors of the Oratory (including uniformed SBGB) are cordially invited to attend and bring along friends and family members. The Salesian River of Worship will animate the music ministry. Let us entrust our families and prjects to Our Lady following te example of Don Bosco
Maria Mazzarello was born on 9th May, 1837 in Mornese. Italy. In October 1864, Maria Mazzarello and 5 other girls formed the association of the Daughters of Maria Immacolata. In 1872 the concgregation of the salesian sisters is officially established and Maria Domenica Mazzarello is the first superior. SHe died at the age of 44 in 14th May 1881.
A meeting with the theme: "Komunikazzjoni maz-Zghazagh" is going to be held at the Oratory for the parents of preteens and youths from all the parishes in Sliema. This is the first in a series of meetings regarding communicating with our youths. The meeting will commence at 19.30 and will be opened by Fr. Eric Cachia sbd followed ba an open discussion by the parents present.
Today is the day in which we commemorate St. Domencio Savio's Feast who died of a young age whilst living in the Oratory with Don Bosco.
Dominic Savio (April 2nd, 1842 - March 9, 1857) was an Italian adolescent student of John Bosco. He was studying to be a priest when he became ill and died at the age of 14.
The Family Picnic on the 1st of May has become an annual event. Early in the morning a group of parents gathered at the Youth Centre for the important ritual of preparing packed lunches consisting of ‘ftajjar’, potato chips, a chocolate and a bottle of water for the 80 ramblers who by 9 o’clock had assembled in front of St. Patrick’s School. A coach and a mini-bus dropped the group at the vicinity of Dar tal-Providenza (in the limits of Siggiewi). From there the group started walking towards the Chapel of San Niklaw.
