Malta, represented by Thea Garrett has failed to qualify for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, which was held on Saturday 29th May. However, this sad result did not inhibit our plan to hold the annual Eurovision Pasta Night as planned. In fact, work had started some days before Saturday with several parents and helpers preparing three types of sauces, deliciously made with love. 140 people attended the event, so much so, that the Youth Centre was crammed with tables, chairs and "supporters" shouting their heads off! Well done to the Parents' Core Team and to the SYC Committee for working together in creating a healthy family spirit. By 1.30 a.m. the place was back in order. Well done!
