Salesian Oratory - Sliema

As part of the Easter activities ‘Easter Swaying’ was organized at the Preteens section of the Salesian Oratory in Sliema on the 8th and 9th of April. The activity consisted of a sleepover and disco. For the sleepover 20 preteens where under the guidance of Bro Clive and Edwina Farrugia that prepared a set of sessions for those present. During the sessions the kids present where invited for self-awareness and also awareness of current issues in society which affect them. Other sessions focused on dancing and creativity.

Once again the Salesian Brigade organised its Easter Camp from the 4th to the 7th April 2010 at Swatar L/O S.Katerina in Rabat.
An advanced party settled camp on Easter Sunday and a group of 29 campers joined the group on Monday 5th April to participate in a 3-day camp packed with activities.

The campers had the opportunity to pitch tents and comfortably sleep under, clean the surroundings, eat good meals and help kitchen hands, set up latrines, play volleyball, pick up wood and relax near the campfire, pray and fall-in for the flag of Malta and SB Colours.

4th April
Advance Party 16+: 3pm SB HQ, Pack up from SB HQ. Settle at Swatar, clean up, latrines, start pitching tents, fix water, safety etc.
