PreTeens Carnival Disco 2009
Dancing to the music line-up provided by DJ Dundz, one of the Oratory Members, was the way the Pre-Teens Section of the Oratory in Sliema joined in the Carnival Festivities. A family atmosphere full of fun and joy reigned through the party held on the 21st February. The central focus on the night was the awards given for Best male and Best Female Costume.
Lectio Divina for Youth
Once again, the Lectio Divina for the leaders and animators of the Salesian Youth Movement took place at the Salesian Oratory (Sliema) on February 6. The Lectio enables the individual to pray with the Bible. Listening, Meditation, Contemplation and Action are among the stages through which the Word of God moves the person. Fr. Fabio Attard was leading this exercise on a monthly basis, along with Fr. Louis Grech. As synergy between our houses is being sought it was decided to join our various youth groups together.
