[G2:27943] “Call of events” took place on Friday 18th November 2013. This meeting was organized by the committee in order to find out what events the salesian oratory, as a whole, would propose to organize throughout the coming months. All the participants were given the chance to come up with tentative or concrete ideas for events that could be part of oratory activities.

The girls of both houses got together and kicked-off their game, to be followed by the boys playing the rest of the matches. It was a very pleasant evening for all of us, especially for the participants in the tournament and also for both sets of supporters.by Christabel Borg[G2:27447 exactsize=400][G2:27455 exactsize=400]

Some of the kids who came were amongst those who took part in the course ‘Nharrfu l-Hrejjef’. The workshop we participated in had to do with a typical Maltese folk tale. From this story the kids had to come up with their own version by changing various things from the story.

It was very exciting for me as it had been long since I had gotten involved in something of this sort in the oratory. This was also so because the Aquatic Games were something new for the Salesian oratory and thus we weren’t sure whether they would be successful or not. A good number of participants turned out on the day and the weather was on our side as well.
